Boutique Hotel from Old Shipping Containers Overlooks the Caucasus Mountains in Georgia

The use of up-cycled containers as the main building unit of the hotel eliminated the negative impacts on the surrounding environment which typically result from the construction process. No deep excavation or rock cutting works were necessary. The hotel simply integrates with the surrounding landscape. It is raised above the ground on thin steel supports, minimizing its footprint as well.
